Crispy Heaven (3-Ingredient Crispy Cheese Bites)

These crispy, golden cheese bites are crunchy on the outside and irresistibly gooey on the inside. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party food.
Ingredients:
8 oz (225 g) Halloumi cheese (or a firm frying cheese), cut into bite-sized squares
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
Optional for serving:
Chopped parsley
Honey or hot honey
Black pepper
Chili flakes
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Cheese
Cut the halloumi into evenly sized cubes or rectangles about 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick.
Pat the pieces dry with paper towels.
Step 2: Coat
Place the flour in a shallow bowl.
Lightly coat each piece of cheese with flour, shaking off any excess.
Step 3: Heat the Pan
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot.
Step 4: Fry
Add the coated cheese pieces in a single layer.
Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until deep golden brown and crispy.
Turn carefully with tongs or a spatula.
Step 5: Drain
Transfer the fried cheese to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
Step 6: Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and freshly ground black pepper.
Drizzle with honey or hot honey for a sweet-and-savory finish, if desired.
Serve immediately while the center is warm and melty.
Tips
Halloumi works best because it holds its shape when fried.
Avoid overcrowding the pan—cook in batches if needed.
